Incremental To Add Over 100 New Tech Jobs In Glasgow

The Incremental Group has announced plans which will see the digital technology firm create over 100 new tech jobs in Glasgow.

After received confirmation of a £1.2 million grant from Scotland’s Regional Selective Assistance (RSA), Incremental said that it will be looking to fill 110 new vacancies in the Scottish city.

Early last year, Incremental created almost 50 new jobs in Glasgow with an initial RSA grant of £50,000. The further cash injection will now see the company further expand its operations in the city.

As well as employing staff in Glasgow, Incremental also has offices in London, Inverurie, Manchester and Northwich, providing jobs for around 120 people. The new round of recruitment will see the digital tech company almost double its UK headcount to 230 members of staff, with the firm forecasting that it will employ 500 people by the end of 2022.

Clients which Incremental provides digital technology services for include Aberdeen City Council, Aggreko, Shelter and Total.

Announcing the new Glasgow jobs, Incremental’s chief executive officer, Neil Logan, said: “Incremental is experiencing an exciting phase of growth and this RSA grant allows us to bring over one hundred people into highly skilled jobs across the business to keep pace with our trajectory.”

“We have created a modern, diverse workplace at Incremental, supporting a range of organisations across the UK around digital transformation. We are now encouraging technologists that are looking for interesting new roles to get in touch with our talent team directly,” added the company’s co-founder.

Scottish Economy Secretary, Derek Mackay, welcomed the announcement, saying: “Companies like Incremental are vital to the success of the Scottish economy. The fact that the company has come such a long way is testament both to the ambition and leadership of the company and to the network of support provided by our enterprise agencies.”

The Director of Economic Development at Scottish Enterprise, Rhona Allison, also commented, saying: “Scottish Enterprise has worked with Incremental through its journey from pre-start through growth stages and it’s a real pleasure to see the company reach this milestone and create another 110 high value jobs in Glasgow.”

“This is a company with a strong focus on building a culture and structure which supports its rapid growth ambitions, and we look forward to supporting the Incremental team as they enter the next chapter in their growth journey,” added Ms Allison.
