Cineworld is to create dozens of new full and part time cinema jobs in Watford as it opens up at intu shopping centre in the Hertfordshire town.

Up to sixty new jobs will be created at the Watford Cineworld and a recruitment day is being held for the vacancies tomorrow (29th September 2018) from 10am til 4pm at Clarendon Road’s Holiday Inn just off Watford Junction.

Roles on offer at Cineworld Watford include team members, team leaders and baristas. Although the nine-screen cinema only opens this December, recruitment will get underway tomorrow in order to fill all of the vacancies ahead of launch day.

Commenting on the recruitment drive for new staff, the general manager of Watford’s Cineworld, Jay Zaman, said: “We are looking forward to bringing a new cinema to the new extension of the intu Shopping Centre in Watford and generating career opportunities in the local area.”

“Cineworld has fantastic career prospects and is a brilliant company to work for, so we welcome those from the local area with a passion for film to pay us a visit on the open day and find out more about the exciting opportunities available,” added Mr Zaman.
