Travelodge have yet to pinpoint a location for the new hotel but say that it will create around 35 full or part time jobs in Middlesbrough when it opens to guests.

The new hotel in Middlesbrough is part of a wider £56 million investment across the North East which will see Travelodge open at seven new locations. Other potential places which have been earmarked for new hotels in the region include Darlington, Durham, Hexham, North Shields, Stockton and South Shields.
