A new £600,000 Home Bargains store is set to create around 50 full and part time retail jobs in Manchester as it opens in a few days’ time.

The new Home Bargains store will launch in the Heaton Park area of Manchester this Saturday, 29 April 2017.

The 1045 square metre store will create dozens of full and part time retail jobs for Heaton Park locals and will be the chain’s 20th outlet in Greater Manchester. Nationwide, the Home Bargains discount chain boasts more than 400 stores all over the United Kingdom.

Home Bargains opens dozens of new stores each year, at an average of around 50 launches every twelve months. The employs over 17,000 people in full and part time roles to help them cope with over 4 million customers a year.

Commenting on the new store Home Bargains’ operations director, Joe Morris, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching another new store in Greater Manchester and look forward to welcoming new customers through the doors.”

“The new store in Heaton Park will be a great location for us and we’re proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices,” added Mr Morris.
