Bistrot Pierre To Create 100 Restaurant Jobs In The West Midlands

French restaurant chain Bistrot Pierre has announced plans for two new outlets which will create around 100 full or part time jobs in the West Midlands.

The new restaurant jobs from Bistrot Pierre will be split between Staffordshire and Worcestershire with one new restaurant set to open in Kidderminster in the next few months and one for Lichfield which will open in summer 2019. Between them, the new restaurants will cost a total investment of £2 million by Bistrot Pierre.

Explaining why the restaurant chain is keen to expand in the region, Rob Beacham, co-owner of Bistrot Pierre, said: “We chose the new West Midlands sites due to the potential they offer in terms of location, footfall and being part of significant retail and leisure initiatives within each town.”

“Bistrot Pierre is delighted to be investing in the already thriving food and drink scene in the region that will not only regenerate these areas but also encourage more people to shop and eat there - thereby improving the local economy and infrastructure.”

“The success of the Birmingham restaurant is a good indicator of how viable the West Midlands is as an area to invest in and we are looking forward to welcoming our new employees and customers when our doors open,” added Mr Beacham.

With another restaurant due to open in Sutton Coldfield in March, Bistrot Pierre will have a portfolio of around 20 branches with other venues across the UK including Altrincham, Bath, Cardiff, Derby, Harrogate, Leicester, Nottingham, Plymouth, Sheffield, Stratford-upon-Avon, Swansea, Torquay and Weston-super-Mare.
