Online Casino Firm To Create 200 IT Jobs In The West Midlands

Intouch Games, an online casino and games developer, is to almost double its workforce as it creates 200 tech jobs in the West Midlands.

Intouch already employs around 200 members of staff at its Halesowen offices in the West Mids but is about to set out on a recruitment surge which will see it advertise the same number of jobs again throughout 2017 and 2018. The company has already expanded its headcount by over 200 per cent in the last eighteen months and shows no signs of slowing down.

Last year, the London Stock Exchange Group named Intouch Games as one of the top 1,000 companies to inspire Britain, and, more recently, the BBC singled them out as one of the main recruiters and influencers in Birmingham’s booming tech sector.

Harriet Grant, the manager of Human Resources for mFortune, a casino brand of Intouch Games, said: “We are expecting to double in size again in the next 24 months, and the opportunities are endless. From computer programming and graphic design, to marketing and customer service, we’re looking for people who are not only great at what they do, but dynamic and enthusiastic. We want people with bags of initiative to join us on this exciting journey.”

Simon Wilson, Intouch Games’ Managing Director, added: “Currently we employ a workforce of 200 and we will be doubling this over the next 12 -18 months. These jobs we are creating are all highly skilled IT jobs in all aspects of programing and design. I doubt there is any company in the Midlands creating as many skilled jobs as we are.”

Halesowen South councillor, Alan Taylor, welcomed the announcement, saying: “The company is increasing in size, giving employment to local people, which is nothing but good news. It is great for the town. We will get more people in jobs in Halesowen, which will help the town to become more thriving.”

The company’s website is currently being redesigned but, offering some details about the sort of people they employ and the roles on offer, it says:

“We recruit apprentices, graduates and people with experience in the following areas: Graphic Design, Games Design, Games Development, Software Development, Web Development, QA/testing, IT, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Finance & Accountancy, Data Analytics and Customer Services.”
