800 of the 1,400 Glasgow jobs that they Commonwealth Games will create in the city are yet to be filled.
Over 450 different job roles will be available for the Glasgow Games in 2014 and around five hundred people have already started working in the Commonwealth jobs.
Full and part time positions on offer for the temporary jobs in Glasgow range from customer service staff, security officers, venue maintenance, results recorders and travel co-ordinators.
Most of the Glasgow temporary jobs require no previous experience, but organisers are also on the hunt for candidates with proven specialist medical and sports skills.
In addition to the 1,400 paid roles that the Glasgow Commonwealth Games will create, there are also 15,000 volunteer roles. Application for those roles rolled in quickly, with over 50,000 people putting their names down for a place. Interviews for the volunteer positions at the games are still ongoing but are expected to be filled before the end of this year.

Games organisers hope to have filled all of their temporary jobs by very early in 2014.
