Swansea Christmas Jobs For Students At Quadrant Shopping Centre

26 Nov 2012

Swansea Christmas Jobs For Students At Quadrant Shopping Centre Students looking for Christmas work in Swansea will be interested to learn that the city’s Quadrant Centre is taking on extra staff for the festive break.

In total, shops at the busy Swansea shopping centre will have created around two hundred extra full or part time jobs in the run up to the Christmas holidays.

Unfortunately for Swansea students still hoping to find a job over Christmas, some of the positions on offer at companies such as Boots and Debenhams have already been filled. There are, however, still some vacancies for local or returning students to check out.

Ian Kirkpatrick, manager of the Quadrant, said that outlets at the South Wales shopping centre provided jobs for over 1,500 people on a continuing basis. A further 200 new staff would be needed at a range of retailers as they look to keep customers happy over the festive break.

“Christmas is always such a busy time and it brings job opportunities too and particularly for young people this can be a bridge to full-time employment because these positions can often lead to permanent roles and to careers,” said Mr Kirkpatrick.
