05 Jan 2012

Recruitment For THORPE PARK Gets Underway THORPE PARK, one of the most successful and stunning theme parks in the United Kingdom, has kicked off the recruitment drive for their summer jobs in 2012.

And, this year, THORPE PARK is advertising their jobs through employment4students - so you can apply for some of their exciting jobs directly through the E4S website!

THORPE PARK in Chertsey, Surrey, is home to some of the most thrilling, white-knuckle rides in the world. With over 25 rides and attractions there is something for everyone at THORPE PARK.

Thrill seekers will lap up rides like Storm Surge, Slammer, Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno. And this season at THORPE PARK sees the opening of THE SWARM, a winged rollercoaster which should scare even the hardiest of theme park veterans.

THORPE PARK also caters for children and those of a nervous disposition with more leisurely attractions such as the Storm in a Teacup and Neptune’s Beach.

With so much on offer, it is no wonder that THORPE PARK is the UK’s fastest growing visitor attraction. And with another bumper season expected in 2012, THORPE PARK needs the right people in place to make sure that all of their visitors leave them with a smile on their face.

And that’s exactly where students and young people like you could help them out….

THORPE PARK is now looking for enthusiastic, friendly, helpful individuals to fill a variety of full and part time customer service roles for their 2012 season. This year though, they are not only looking for staff that can help them out at their busiest period in the summer holidays – they are also recruiting people for longer term work.

The 2012 season at THORPE PARK starts on 15th March and runs right through to November so now is the time to start the application process for these exciting and rewarding full and part time positions.

One of the big perks of the job as an employee of Merlin Entertainments Group - the managers of THORPE PARK - is that you receive a Magic Merlin Pass. This entitles you to free access to all of the parks, rides and attractions that fall under the Merlin Entertainments Group’s umbrella.

That means you will be able to get in absolutely free at other fantastic places such as Madame Tussauds, Alton Towers, Warwick Castle and the EDF Energy London Eye.

The pay for full and part time jobs at THORPE PARK is very competitive, starting out at £6.10 an hour. Customer service roles are available in a variety of positions such as looking after the rides and attractions themselves, food & beverages, entertainment, retail, sales and admissions.

Although some previous customer service experience would be an advantage, the most important factor is that you offer the sort of character qualities that THORPE PARK is looking for. Paramount is a pleasant, bright and bubbly personality and the ability to work hard and use your initiative.

If you are interested in any of these full or part time positions with THORPE PARK (and, let’s face it, who wouldn’t be?) then check out our THORPE PARK profile page or go straight to the job application page for this season’s THORPE PARK Customer Service Host Jobs.
