Asda Still Needs To Fill 5,000 Jobs For Christmas 2011 As we told you back in August, Asda needed to fill 7,000 Christmas jobs for a busy shopping spree over the holidays. If you haven’t already found a holiday job for Christmas 2011 then the good news is that Asda has so far only filled 2,000 of those full and part time jobs.

That means that there are still 5,000 Christmas jobs up for grabs at the supermarket in locations all over the United Kingdom.

Some of the 5,000 full and part time positions that you could still apply for at Asda for Christmas 2011 include specialist service hosts and in-store shopping advisors who can offer advice to customers on which gadgets and gifts to buy as presents.

At the start of the recruitment drive for Christmas staff, Andy Clarke, Chief Executive Officer and President of Asda, said that the supermarket chain’s strong focus this year was on customer service. The company is spending £5 million this Christmas to make sure that their customers’ experience at Asda is a happy one. The 7,000 Christmas staff they are taking on are a major part of that investment for the festive season this year.

We ho-ho-hope you can find a student job this Christmas if you are looking for one in your area. This article just goes to show that there are still thousands of jobs available for Christmas 2011.
