An insurance company in Tunstall is set to move to bigger premises and could create 100 full or part time jobs in Staffordshire.

Onesure Insurance, which started out in 2006 and specialises in insurance for motor traders, hopes to grow its business by up to 75 per cent over the next year as they continue to invest and expand.

The new full and part time job opportunities at Onesure will include IT staff, customer service representatives and sales advisors at the company’s new home on Butt Lane in Tunstall.

Currently, the Tunstall firm employs 40 people at their business, but the move to a more spacious building will allow them to expand and add a further 100 to 110 Staffordshire part time jobs.

Chris Lear, Managing director of Onesure Insurance said: “We are getting more inquiries than we can cope with at the moment but we have no room in our current building to take on more staff. By moving to the new place, we will have more people to do the work, be able to invest more money and grow the business even more.”

The director of finance at Onesure, Nigel Harper, is also enthusiastic about the move to bigger premises. “This is a good step forward for the company. We see the move to Butt Lane, close to where both myself and Chris grew up and live, to be a great thing because we are investing in the area and creating new jobs,” said Mr Harper.
