Cunning Stunts Might Land You A Graduate Job In London Are you still looking for a graduate job in London? If so, it might be time for you to get a little more inventive with your job search skills.

David Rowe, 24, from Cambridge, decided to tread the streets around Fleet Street wearing a sandwich board in order to try to secure himself a graduate job in London. His efforts led to at least one job offer from international recruitment company Parkhouse Bell.

Gavin Walker, who offered the position, said that he admired Rowe's initiative and so thought him worth interviewing. Walker said, "I liked the fact he had thought out of the box. I was impressed by that. I was even more impressed after the interview. He's very employable, so much so I offered him a job to work with me."

Rowe, a history graduate, left the University of Kent with £20,000 debt and took the drastic sandwich board action after a bet with his father. Rowe had posted off hundred of CVs - and has even said he would work for free – but had so far failed to land a London graduate job.

Just a few months ago Alex Kearns, a 23 year old Swansea University graduate, also secured a graduate job in London after sending out lots of CVs without success. So, what did Kearns change about his CV that led to his change in fortunes?

Well, the size and location basically!

Kearns rolled out a massive 10ft long copy of his CV from the fourth plinth of Trafalgar Square. Soon afterwards several companies got in touch to offer him interviews. He has since accepted a London graduate job as a sales executive with the International Business Development Group.
