A programme showing how student nurses manage to deal with the stresses of study and working life will be shown in BBC Two Scotland.
The documentary, called Nursing a Dream, will be shown on April 16th and 23rd at 21:00 and looks at nurses working in the Western Isles campus of the University of Stirling.
Katie Tilley, a second-year student, told the BBC: "Being committed and being a nurse kind of go hand in hand.
"You have to know for sure it's something that you want to do because it's hard and if your heart's not in it, it'll be really difficult to sustain it over a long period of time.
"I've given up so much just to get here - I feel kind of privileged that I've been given the opportunity to do it."
The FKF production for BBC Scotland will show how nurses take their first steps in wards to how they deal with failing exams and making decisions about the future.
