Job Responsibilities Conduct pre-shift vehicle checks to ensure the forklift is in safe working condition before each shift. Transport packaging materials to and from manufacturing cells efficiently and safely. Move finished stock and store it securely in designated areas using appropriate material handling equipment. Report any faults or damage to the forklift to the Team Leader or Shift Manager immediately. Adhere to all plant procedures and safety protocols during daily operations. Support manufacturing processes by ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications Full Counterbalance Forklift Licence (valid and recognised in the UK). Minimum of 1 year experience operating counterbalance forklifts. Experience working with stillages and other material handling equipment. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace. Strong team-working skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to safety and operational procedures.
