Law Internships

Internships In Law
What Sorts of Law Internships Are On Offer? There are almost as many different types of law internships as there are branches of law. We’ve advertised various sorts of internships for law students in the UK over the years - including a range of opportunities such as corporate law internships, international law internships, intellectual property law internships, business law internships, family law internships, environmental law internships, criminal law internships, commercial law internships, maritime law internships and immigration law internships.

Many of the best internships for law students are based in London, but undergraduates in most big towns and cities all over the UK should be able to track down paid law internships.

Law internships can be shorter than other types of placement, such as internships in IT, for instance, and they usually run from just a couple of days up to a few weeks. Summer law internships tend to be the longest ones, but you can find shorter internships in law at other times of the year in the UK.

Are Law Internships Just For Law Students? For the most part, yes, UK law internships are usually awarded to undergraduates who are studying towards a law-related degree subject. There are occasionally law internships for non law students, but you’ll have to be quick to spot them.
