Vehicle Maintenance Technician - Botley
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch break)
We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable automotive business in Botley, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a friendly, close-knit workshop known for its high standards, modern equipment, and supportive working environment.
The Role
As an integral part of the team, you will:
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using the latest tools and technology
Prepare and inspect vehicles for MOT testing
Ensure all work meets the workshop's excellent quality standards
You'll work with up-to-date equipment and digital systems - including individual tablets for job management and access to multiple diagnostic tools. The workload is varied, covering both fleet and retail vehicles, so no two days are the same.
About You
We're keen to hear from technicians who have:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Level 2 considered with strong experience)
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Proven experience in a busy workshop environment
A full UK driving licence
Your own set of tools (essential)
A trial shift can be arranged, giving you the chance to meet the team and experience the workshop firsthand.
