Technology Team Member Profile
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and solutions-focused Technology Team Members to support technology services during matchdays and major events. The role helps ensure that tills, kitchen systems, self-service kiosks, payment devices and connected operational equipment are tested, available and supported throughout service.

Constellation optimises the working schedules of Compass employees, so we can also help you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you.
Main responsibilities include:
• Set up, test and deploy technology equipment before each event, completing readiness checks before service begins.
• Configure and support Kappture EPOS tills and associated devices, including basic login, connectivity, peripheral and transaction troubleshooting.
• Monitor and support Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), helping maintain the flow of orders between service points and kitchen teams.
• Set up, test and troubleshoot self-service kiosks, including screens, scanners, printers and payment connectivity.
• Configure, replace and troubleshoot payment devices and card terminals, escalating transaction or connectivity faults when required.
• Support printers, tablets, handheld devices and other operational technology used across hospitality, retail and outside vendor areas.
• Respond promptly to incidents during live service, communicate clearly with operational colleagues and minimise disruption.
• Log faults accurately and escalate complex or recurring issues to the appropriate senior or specialist support team.
• Assist with equipment swaps, charging, stock control, recovery and secure storage before and after events.
• Work closely with hospitality, retail, outside vendor, finance and technology colleagues to support smooth event-day service.
Skills and Experience:
• Practical problem-solving skills and confidence following a logical troubleshooting process.
• Basic understanding of IT hardware, connected devices and common software issues.
• Experience with EPOS, card payments, kiosks, hospitality systems or event technology is desirable, but training can be provided.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach when supporting busy operational teams.
• Ability to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in stadium, event, hospitality, retail or technology support environments is advantageous.
Requirements:
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and matchdays.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Comfortable working on foot across a large venue and moving between operational areas during service.
• Strong attention to detail, safe handling of equipment and commitment to service excellence.
