The Role:
At The Ned Doha, we believe that behind every exceptional guest experience is a team that keeps everything running seamlessly. We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Technician to join our Engineering team and support the smooth operation of our facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of hotel equipment and facilities.
- Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are functioning efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and other essential infrastructure.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and maintain optimal usage of utilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining records of maintenance work, equipment logs, and service schedules.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to guest experience.
- Identify and report any potential risks or required improvements in facilities.
About You:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive work attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices within the hospitality industry.
