We’re seeking a driven and people-focused Regional People Consultant to join our vibrant team at The O2, one of the world’s most iconic live entertainment venues. In this pivotal role, you’ll help ensure that top-tier talent is sourced, onboarded, and deployed effectively to meet the demands of fast-paced, high-volume catering operations.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Staffing & Workforce Planning
· Coordinate end-to-end staffing for Hospitality & Retail departments and support roles across multiple venues.
· Build strong, long-term relationships with venue and operations teams, aligning staffing strategies with operational requirements.
· Map and forecast staffing requirements in coordination with event schedules, ensuring an agile and accurate roster to meet business demands.
· Manage staffing assignments through the Ubeya workforce management system, including bookings, amendments, and live roster updates.
· Ensure all shifts and events are fully staffed within required timeframes and according to agreed service levels.
· Take full accountability for delivering the required quantity and quality of staff for all events supported.
Talent Attraction, Resourcing & Onboarding
· Partner with the internal Resourcing team to attract high-quality candidates through various channels including job ads, databases, and referrals.
· Engage with the wider Constellation workforce to attract and maintain high calibre, consistent variable staff across all departments.
· Assign staff to events based on skill sets, experience, and cultural fit, ensuring the best match for each role.
· Evaluate CVs, support with pre-screening interviews, and support in the delivery of online or in-person assessments as required.
· Support with on-site inductions for new starters.
Engagement & Performance
· Champion employee engagement, performance, attendance, and well-being.
· Provide on-site support during check-ins and check-outs, coordinating feedback from key stakeholders and ensuring a consistent team experience.
· Promote a high-performance culture through regular feedback and performance monitoring in partnership with on-site leaders.
· Champion The O2 as a venue of choice within the broader Constellation workforce community.
Event Support
· Be present and hands-on during major events, managing last-minute adjustments, deployments, overbooks and live event staffing challenges.
· Work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure smooth execution throughout event lifecycles.
Compliance, Systems & Reporting
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staffing levels, shift assignments, and event attendance using Ubeya and internal systems.
· Support data capture and post-event reporting to evaluate staffing effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Ensure compliance with all employment and health & safety regulations, including food safety and right-to-work legislation.
General
· To support the wider O2 Constellation team and O2 home team pre, during and post each event across all departments working collaboratively as a team to ensure event success.
· To develop a firm understanding of all O2 departments and operations, covering for colleagues as and when required (absence, lieu or holiday periods).
· In the absence of the other Regional People Consultants and the Lead Consultant, act as point of contact for the onsite teams, proactively problem solving, escalating and documenting any issues that may arise.
Essential Skills & Experience
Industry Knowledge
· Basic understanding of hospitality & catering roles.
· Familiarity with major event operations and event-based catering or hospitality environments.
Recruitment & Scheduling
· Experience supporting recruitment processes (CV screening, pre-interviews, onboarding).
· Ability to match candidates to appropriate roles based on skills and availability.
· Experience with rota or shift planning tools (e.g., Ubeya, Harri, Fourth or similar).
Organisational & Administrative Skills
· Excellent attention to detail when scheduling, onboarding, or maintaining records.
· Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
· Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Communication & People Skills
· Clear and professional communication with candidates and internal teams.
· Able to build rapport with a diverse workforce and respond to queries confidently.
· Empathy, patience, and diplomacy when dealing with staff or handling issues.
Problem Solving & Initiative
· Ability to respond to last-minute changes, staff no-shows, or booking amendments.
· Proactive in finding solutions and supporting staffing coverage under pressure.
Tech & Systems Proficiency
· Comfortable using workforce platforms, applicant tracking systems, and spreadsheets.
· Basic IT skills (email, data entry, document handling, etc.).
This role is a 5 out of 7 day working week. It will regularly involve weekend working, evenings and some bank holidays, due to the nature of our business you will need to be on site 5 days per week.
Our team at The O2 delivers over 200 events each year. You’ll work on a shift pattern with other team members, with your schedule communicated in advance.
Ad-hoc support at wider Constellation venues may be required.

· Time of in lieu to be given for any additional time worked above contractual hours
