👨🍳 What You'll Be Doing
As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by:
- Providing friendly and professional support to colleagues and guests.
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver excellent service.
- Ensuring all cutlery, crockery and glassware are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Washing and cleaning cooking utensils during preparation and service periods.
- Keeping kitchen work areas clean, organised and safe at all times.
- Removing kitchen waste responsibly and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
- Assisting with the set-up and clear-down of workstations before and after service.
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.
- Operating cleaning equipment safely and in line with training provided.
- Following all Health & Safety, Hygiene, COSHH and Manual Handling procedures.
- Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Bringing a positive attitude to work and supporting your team every day.
✅ What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar Kitchen Porter role.
- A reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Someone who can thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Please note: Applications will only be considered from candidates with at least 6 months of relevant Kitchen Porter experience.
