Plumber (Part-Time) - Edinburgh & Surrounding Areas
£19 per hour | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work
Manpower Scotland are currently recruiting for a qualified Plumber on behalf of one of our key clients, supporting a range of maintenance contracts across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work with the potential for additional hours.
The Role
Carrying out general plumbing maintenance, repairs and fault finding
Attending reactive and planned maintenance jobs across multiple sites
Repairing and replacing taps, pipework, toilets, sinks and other sanitary ware
Diagnosing and fixing leaks, blockages and pressure issues
Basic installation work where required (e.g. small upgrades or replacements)
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
Maintaining accurate job records and reporting completed work
Liaising with tenants, clients or site contacts in a professional manner
Supporting general maintenance tasks and minor labouring duties when required
Assisting other trades on site where necessaryHours & Pay
2-3 days per week initially
8 hours guaranteed per day
£19 per hour (PAYE)
Opportunity for additional work depending on workload and flexibilityRequirements
SVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent) - essential
Full UK driving licence - essential (travel between sites required)
PVG certificate or willingness to undergo a PVG check
Experience in maintenance and reactive plumbing works
Gas Safe certification desirable, but not essential at this stageWhat's in it for you
