Minibus Driver
Location: Barry, CF62 3BH
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary, with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position
Hours: Part time, 24 hours per week
Shifts: 6 pm - 6 am (nights). You will work a 2 on 6 off shift pattern across 7 days.
Pay Rate: £13.97 per hour
About the Role
Manpower is recruiting for a Minibus Driver on behalf of our client. This is a varied and customer focused role that combines driving duties, vehicle handling and customer service within a busy airport parking operation.
You will be responsible for transporting customers safely and efficiently between the parking facility and the airport, while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Providing a professional meet and greet service for customers and assisting with any enquiries
Safely loading and unloading customer luggage onto the minibus
Conducting vehicle checks before and after each journey and reporting any defects or issues
Monitoring flight schedules and traffic conditions to ensure timely customer transfers
Parking, retrieving and repositioning customer vehicles within the secure company compound and designated holding areas
Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times
Essential Requirements
D/D1 Category on the rear of your valid UK driving licence
Minimum of 2 years' commercial driving experience
Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
Physically fit and able to walk several miles during a shift
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Reliable, professional and able to work independently
