Massage Therapist – Crazy Bear Stadhampton
A good massage should feel calm, personal and completely unhurried. Making it feel that way takes real skill. We’re looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to deliver professional treatments from our dedicated massage rooms at Crazy Bear Stadhampton.
This is a part-time role working three days per week. Our preferred working pattern is Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering full-body massages
- Providing back and shoulder massages
- Providing head massages
- Providing foot massages
- Consulting with guests before each treatment
- Tailoring treatments to individual needs and preferences
- Identifying contraindications and making sure treatments are delivered safely
- Maintaining guests’ comfort, dignity and privacy throughout
- Preparing treatment rooms before each appointment
- Keeping rooms, equipment and linens clean and properly presented
- Maintaining accurate and confidential treatment records
- Managing treatment timings and keeping appointments running smoothly
- Monitoring products, linens and treatment-room supplies
- Working closely with reception and the wider hotel team
- Creating a welcoming experience from consultation through to departure
What we’re looking for
- A recognised massage therapy qualification, ideally Level 3 or equivalent
- Practical experience delivering professional massage treatments
- Confidence providing full-body, back and shoulder, head and foot massages
- A good understanding of consultations, contraindications and treatment safety
- Excellent hygiene and presentation standards
- A calm, warm and professional manner
- The ability to make guests feel comfortable and properly looked after
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Respect for professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Availability to work three days per week, preferably Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- The right to work in the UK
Strong hands help. Good judgement, proper technique and knowing when a guest wants quiet matter just as much.

Set in the Oxfordshire countryside, it’s our original home—with signature bedrooms, a 16th-century pub, an al fresco terrace, spaces for weddings and events, and dedicated massage treatment rooms. Guests come to Stadhampton to switch off. Your job is to make sure they actually do.
