WHERE YOU SIT

As our Marketing & Experience Lead you’ll be part of the Marketing Team team working closely with brilliant people across the business. Reporting directly to the Senior DACH Marketing Manager. You’ll be at the core of fast‑moving, high‑impact initiatives shaping Dr. Martens - today and for the future. This role can be based in our Düsseldorf head office or Berlin.

WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE

DACH wholesale partners are critical to building the Dr. Martens brand with new and existing consumers across the distribution pyramid. These partners bring the brand to life through premium storytelling, product presentation and community connection, while validating our Icons and supporting the launch and scale of new silhouettes. This role defines the strategy for key wholesale partners and delivers a clear blueprint for success that drives sustainable growth. Digital wholesale is a central pillar of our consumer‑focused strategy and premium brand ambition. The role leads the marketing strategy for key digital partners, including Zalando and About You, to elevate brand presence, grow engagement, build range awareness and recruit new Dr. Martens consumers across their platforms.

  • Create and deliver the Wholesale Marketing strategy and plan
  • Build a scalable model to grow brand and Wholesale business
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Build strong, trusted account relationships
  • Support Wholesale team with sell-in toolkits and sales appointments
  • Set KPIs and evaluate activity against brand and commercial objectives
  • Prioritise for results and influence for greater impact
  • With Germany as your priority market, you will also activate initiatives in Austria and Switzerland to build awareness and demand in these secondary markets
  • Drive the product led Marketing calendar with key Digital Wholesale partners such as Zalando and About You
  • Lead brand activations with key Digital Wholesale partners
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Build strong, trusted account relationships
  • Track performance and optimise activity
  • Leverage partner’s consumer insights to inform our strategy

KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

  • 5–8 years’ experience in a marketing role (or equivalent)
  • Experience in an international fashion, lifestyle or cultural brand
  • Fluent English and German (written and spoken)
  • Collaborative, flexible and service-oriented team player
  • Self-starter with a creative, proactive mindset and high ownership
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation and stakeholder communication skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A high standard of IT literacy is required
  • Hands-on experience with Zalando/About You onsite activations (campaign pages, brand shops, PDPs) and co-built digital marketing plans
  • Strong KPI fluency (conversion, traffic, ROAS) and ability to turn partner reporting into optimisation actions
  • Skilled at balancing brand storytelling and conversion goals across partner content and trading moments
  • Commercially strong: sell-in vs. sell-out, and aligning marketing to the DACH trading calendar with partners
