Manufacturing Technician Location: Paisley Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 16:00 Manpower Scotland is recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to join a busy and highly regulated production environment in Paisley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to join a fast-paced, high-quality production setting within the biotech sector. You'll play a key role in ensuring daily manufacturing requirements are met and that product quality and performance standards are consistently achieved. What you'll be doing: Manufacturing cell culture media and reagents following strict protocols and SOPs Operating semi-automated and automated production equipment Carrying out in-process testing to ensure products meet specification Troubleshooting process, procedure, and product issues with support when required Managing multiple tasks and prioritising workload effectively Using IT systems and equipment as part of the manufacturing process Supporting continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives Following all health, safety, and cleanroom procedures Contributing to departmental goals and performance metrics What we're looking for: Previous manufacturing experience (essential) Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-throughput manufacturing environment Experience in a similar industry is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and quality focus Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to take initiative and suggest improvements Strong work ethic and positive, professional attitude Ability to work accurately in a regulated environment Working conditions: Cleanroom and manufacturing environment Standing for long periods during shifts Manual handling (up to 25 lbs) Working with chemicals and hazardous materials (full training provided) Requirement for flexibility and occasional overtime What to expect: A structured and fast-paced manufacturing environment High standards of quality and compliance Opportunity to contribute to process improvements Collaboration across multiple departments and teams Responsibility and accountability in daily tasks Benefits of working with Manpower: Weekly pay Access to reward schemes Free online training and development through MyPath If you are an experienced manufacturing professional looking for your next challenge in a highly regulated and rewarding environment, we'd love to hear from you.
