About the Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies. Key Responsibilities

• You will be required to carry out daily electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
• Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
• Working within a fast-paced environment, covering afternoon shifts as well as covering all the electrical engineering maintenance

About You You will have qualifications either at NVQ / HNC or City & Guilds Level in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance. Alternatively, we will also consider applicants who have completed their apprenticeships scheme in electrical engineering. Key Skills

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical discipline
• Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments (food manufacturing preferred but not essential)
• 18th Edition Electrical Certificate is advantageous

This is a permanent role based at our site UK Poultry - Amber site in West Bromwich, Monday to Friday 2pm - 11pm. Benefits
