THE GIG

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in driving the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that support our enterprise service management strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across IT and business units to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions using the ServiceNow platform.

You will report into the Head of Enterprise Enablement & Automation and work cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and Retail Operations to streamline processes, enhance employee productivity, and ensure seamless integration of automation initiatives.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Must-Have Experience:

· Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration

· Proven track record of delivering complex ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD etc)

· Experience in managing ServiceNow upgrade projects, platform migrations, and integrations with third-party systems

· Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they align with ServiceNow capabilities

· Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments


Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in Java/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs

· Deep expertise in ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, UI Builder, Custom Apps/Widgets, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies

· Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data model, CMDB design, and Discovery

· Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, MID Server configuration, and custom integrations

· Familiarity with Performance/Platform Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboards

· Understanding of security best practices within ServiceNow, including ACLs and role-based access control, and governing best practices for update sets, system upgrades and releases.

· ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist are highly desirable
