Kitchen Porter - Crazy Bear Beaconsfield

Every kitchen needs someone who keeps the whole thing moving. Usually, that person is standing next to a very full sink.

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen clean, organised and ready for service. You’ll work alongside the chefs in a busy environment where everyone gets stuck in and no one is too important to carry a tray.

Experience is useful, but it isn’t essential. We’ll show you what you need to know.

What you’ll be doing

  • Washing pans, plates, dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Keeping the wash-up area clean and organised
  • Cleaning floors, surfaces and kitchen areas
  • Sanitising food-preparation surfaces
  • Following daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Removing waste and recycling safely
  • Making sure clean equipment is ready when the chefs need it
  • Using cleaning products and equipment correctly
  • Helping with basic food preparation when required
  • Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services

What we’re looking for

  • Someone reliable who turns up ready to work
  • A hardworking, positive attitude
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work quickly without cutting corners
  • A team player who is happy to get stuck in
  • Clear, friendly communication
  • The ability to work safely in a busy kitchen
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • The right to work in the UK

We can teach you the kitchen. Bringing the right attitude is your department.

The good stuff

  • On-target earnings of up to £13 per hour
  • 50% off food and drink for up to four people
  • 50% off overnight stays
  • 50% off Crazy Bear ticketed events
  • One free overnight stay every year
  • An extra day off for your birthday
  • 28 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays
  • One additional day of holiday for each completed year of service, up to 33 days including bank holidays
  • Training and opportunities to progress
  • £300 for successfully referring someone who joins us
  • Financial recognition for going above and beyond
  • Bear of the Month rewards
  • Workplace pension
  • Access to Hospitality Rewards perks and discounts

Where you’ll be working

Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is Town.

Signature bedrooms, two restaurants—The Dining Room and Hom Thai—two bars and a hidden outdoor pool, all tucked into the middle of Old Beaconsfield.

Our cocktail bar is mirrored, low-lit and built for late nights. The wine list is considered, the drinks are taken seriously and the atmosphere rarely sits still for long.

If you can run a clean section, cook consistently and keep your head when the printer starts talking, we should talk.
