As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of busy school kitchens. From preparing ingredients and serving food to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, you'll be part of a team making a real difference every day.

What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with the preparation of food and ingredients
- Serving meals to pupils and staff
- Washing up and keeping kitchen equipment clean
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Supporting chefs and the wider catering team with daily tasks
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience of working in a school environment desirable
- Min 3 months experience working in a similar role
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking individuals
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to learn and follow food hygiene procedures
- Previous catering or kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
Skills & Qualifications
Some of our roles are based within educational settings and require an Enhanced DBS Check.
