The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Hygiene Officer to join our team and help us uphold the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across the property.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Hygiene Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with local regulations, company standards, and best practices in food safety and hygiene. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards across all departments.
- Conducting regular hygiene inspections and audits throughout the property.
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP requirements and food safety regulations.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of hygiene management systems.
- Delivering hygiene and food safety training to team members.
- Monitoring cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
- Investigating hygiene-related incidents and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinating with operational teams to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to food safety and hygiene compliance.
- Assisting during internal and external audits and inspections.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a Hygiene Officer, Food Safety Officer, or similar role within hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or catering operations.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and hygiene management systems.
- Relevant food safety and hygiene certifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships across multiple departments.
- Good organizational and reporting skills.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
