We’re looking for a Host to join the team at The Blues Kitchen Manchester.
The award-winning Blues Kitchen has brought its legendary energy to the heart of Manchester. With a stunning Southern-inspired interior and a stage that hosts world-class blues, soul and funk artists, it’s a place where great food, strong drinks and live music come together every night of the week. Serving up all-American comfort food classics and expertly crafted cocktails, The Blues Kitchen Manchester is one of the city’s most vibrant nightlife destinations.
It’s a fast-paced environment with a lot going on. We’re looking for warm, confident people who enjoy meeting new guests and setting the tone for a great night from the moment they arrive.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests with a friendly and confident approach.
- Managing reservations and walk-ins throughout the shift.
- Organising table flow and supporting the restaurant team during busy services.
- Communicating clearly with the floor team to keep service smooth.
- Creating a positive first impression for every guest.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in hospitality or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
- A warm, friendly personality.
- A genuine interest in hospitality and live music.
What to Expect
- Competitive pay: £12.75 per hour plus tronc (total package usually between £12.75–£13.50 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
