Arc is hiring Event Hospitality Staff to work at a busy seasonal pumpkin patch, supporting our client across their marshmallow toasting and hot chocolate areas.
These are fun, customer-facing roles perfect for people who enjoy working outdoors, meeting customers and being part of a lively seasonal event.
Depending on your experience and the requirements on the day, you may be working as a Marshmallow Toasting Assistant or Hot Chocolate Stall Assistant.
Marshmallow Toasting Assistant
You’ll help create a fun and safe marshmallow toasting experience for guests throughout the event.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and safely maintaining the designated fire pit
- Selling marshmallows for customers to toast
- Supervising customers around the fire and ensuring it is used safely
- Providing friendly and engaging customer service
- Restocking products and keeping the area clean and organised
- Following all onsite fire safety procedures
- Safely extinguishing the fire at the end of the event day
- Providing occasional break cover on the Hot Chocolate Stall when required
You must be confident working around an open fire and comfortable taking responsibility for maintaining a safe environment for guests.
Hot Chocolate Stall Assistant
You’ll be working on a busy seasonal drinks stall, preparing and serving hot chocolates and other hot drinks throughout the event.
What you’ll be doing:
- Taking customer orders and preparing drinks to order
- Serving customers quickly, accurately and professionally
- Handling cash and card payments where required
- Preparing multiple orders during busy periods
- Restocking products throughout the day
- Keeping the stall clean, tidy and well organised
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures
- Providing occasional break cover within the Marshmallow Toasting area when required
Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, barista role, catering environment or another busy food and beverage setting is required for this role.

- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with customers
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy outdoor event environment
- Able to remain professional and welcoming during busy periods
- Confident following food, fire and general safety procedures
- Flexible and happy to support across different areas when required
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must be able to make your own way to and from the venue
