Catering Assistant – Bristol (BS34 7QE)


We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team in Bristol! If you enjoy working with people, delivering excellent customer service and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:00pm


Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent, friendly and professional customer service at all times.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Demonstrate good product knowledge and confidently answer customer questions about menu items and ingredients.
  • Maintain attractive food displays and ensure products are well presented and replenished.
  • Assist with food preparation and daily catering operations.
  • Keep counters, dining areas and equipment clean, tidy and hygienic.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.


Requirements

  • Previous catering or hospitality experience is essential.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Good product knowledge and the confidence to engage with customers.
  • Personable, approachable and confident, with a positive attitude.
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced environment and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Reliable, organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
  • A strong team player with excellent timekeeping.
