As a Health and Safety Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting your business area in developing and embedding effective H&S systems, ensuring risks are understood and managed through practical, tailored solutions.
Working closely with managers to ensure H&S is properly considered in day‑to‑day operations, initiatives, and decision‑making across branches and regions.
Investigating incidents alongside local teams, producing clear reports, and driving the implementation of corrective actions and shared learning.
Delivering H&S training and ongoing coaching to colleagues, championing safety as a core business value, and strengthening capability across the business area.
Carrying out regular monitoring visits and audits.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will require regular travel to sites across the Wolseley Group.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent Level 3 qualification) is a minimum, with a NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 qualification considered a strong advantage.
Proven experience partnering with enior Managers to drive meaningful H&S improvements and influence cultural change.
A strong commercial mindset, able to take a balanced, risk‑based approach that supports both safety and operational priorities.
Experience working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment, with an understanding of emerging H&S trends and how they impact business operations.
