WHERE YOU SIT

As our Group Tax Analyst, you’ll be part of the Group Tax (Finance) team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Senior Group Tax Manager. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.


WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE

The Group Tax Analyst supports the delivery of accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. This role ensures the integrity of tax data, assists in preparing corporation tax and VAT returns, and contributes to maintaining a strong tax control framework. Acting as a key support within the Group Tax team, the role helps mitigate risk and enables strategic growth through robust processes and compliance.

The role contributes to the company’s strategic priorities by:

  • Driving operational efficiency: Streamlining tax data processes and supporting automation to reduce manual effort.
  • Enabling governance and transparency: Ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Supporting profitable growth: Providing tax input for projects and transactions to enable expansion without risk exposure


CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

As our Group Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Support corporation tax and VAT compliance, including preparation of schedules, coordination with outsourced providers and delivery of accurate monthly, half-year and year-end reporting.
  • Maintain tax governance and control frameworks, supporting Senior Accounting Officer requirements, improving processes and managing cross-border withholding tax compliance.
  • Conduct technical tax research and provide guidance on transactions and projects, acting as a key contact for queries and escalating complex issues where required.
  • Partner with the business on projects and initiatives, ensuring tax implications are understood while contributing to process improvements and efficiency.
  • Drive accurate, timely tax data and reporting to support cost control, project success and broader strategic objectives, while promoting compliance awareness across finance teams.


KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

Put simply, the key things we’re looking for are:

  • Part-qualified or working towards ATT/CTA (or equivalent) with experience supporting tax compliance processes, including preparation of tax schedules and returns.
  • Strong technical capability in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with D365 or similar systems advantageous, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, risk awareness and the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player, demonstrating integrity, accountability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to execute tax processes within Group frameworks, support UK and EMEA compliance and recommend improvements to data quality and efficiency.
