The ultimate aim is to make the site that you work in successful and profitable. We can only achieve this if we have happy customers that want to return and tell others about their experience. In order to do this we need to build good customer loyalty. Customer loyalty involves building a long term relationship between NOEL and the individual customer in order to improve profitability and return visits.
To achieve the above we must all work together as a team to provide the best possible customer experience in a clean, safe and friendly environment. All employees have a duty to uphold the high brand image of the NOEL profile within the market place and ensure that all polices and procedures as set out in the various compliance and policy manuals are adhered to at all times.
Due to the nature of the role, we can only accept candidates who are 18 years of age or over.
Main Duties
- Serve customers taking account of the principles of good customer service, always remaining helpful and courteous. Including dealing with; bookings, customer queries, complaints (initial stage) etc. either in person or via telephone, email, or written communications.
- Work on all the sites departments as required i.e. bowling reception, lanes, shoe bar, prize shop, food outlets, bars, pool bar, dodgems etc.
- Promote the sites facilities, offers, membership schemes etc. to potential new and existing customers using the following methods: over the phone, handing out pos material, using the sites sales executive to support future bookings, etc.
- To assist on promotions, themed events, exhibitions etc. Occasionally these may be off site.
- Carry out cleaning duties as instructed. You only get one chance to make a great impression.
- Ensure that all Bowling and Machine faults are reported correctly and as quickly as possible.
- Ensure that all transactions are dealt with correctly and that any errors are reported to management.
- Ensure the correct handling of both cash and always token floats as trained.
- Operate any of the site attractions as required and trained.
- Carry out replenishment tasks i.e. refilling vending machines, re-stocking bars including alcoholic drinks, re-stocking the prize shop etc.
- Receiving deliveries and putting away as required.
- Work with management and colleagues to identify opportunities to increase the areas market share of trade within the locality.
- Support your own development via online or distance learning courses.
- Provide onward training to other employees.
- Ensure you complete the tasks set for you by your manager from your personal yearly review.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all duties as trained.
- Follow all policies and procedures as trained.
- Ensure all paperwork that you are responsible for is correctly completed.
- Always Adhere to all Health and Safety legislation.
- Always Adhere to all Food and Hygiene legislation.
- Ensure all visitors are dealt with correctly as trained i.e. police, enforcement officers, workmen, company reps etc.
- To report any incidents to management straight away.
- Ensure all back-office areas are always secure.
- You must always be clean and tidy in your appearance.
- Develop a good working relationship between your colleagues and management.
