As our Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be part of the Legal team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Head of Compliance & Data Protection Officer. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE
The role acts as a central point of support across the Compliance and Data Protection function, working closely with the Compliance Manager and Data Protection Manager to coordinate activities, maintain governance processes and support the effective delivery of the team's objectives.
By providing operational, administrative and organizational support, the Compliance Coordinator helps ensure the function operates efficiently, maintains robust records and governance practices, and is well positioned to meet its regulatory, compliance and data protection commitments across the business.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
As our Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting governance, reporting and coordination, administering Compliance and Data Protection activities, preparing governance reporting, monitoring regulatory developments and coordinating enterprise-wide compliance, privacy and AI governance initiatives.
- Managing compliance and data protection operations, maintaining governance documentation, administering key registers, coordinating third-party due diligence, supporting audits, investigations and assurance activities, and managing routine compliance and privacy enquiries.
- Supporting data protection and regulatory compliance, coordinating data subject requests, assisting with privacy assessments, maintaining data protection records and ensuring compliance activities are accurately documented and effectively managed.
- Delivering training, awareness and engagement activities, administering compliance learning platforms, coordinating training campaigns, producing communications and promoting a culture of integrity, accountability and responsible business conduct.
- Building effective stakeholder relationships and driving operational excellence, partnering with Legal, HR, Technology and wider business teams to support the delivery of Compliance and Data Protection priorities while maintaining accurate records, tracking actions and continuously improving ways of working.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
Put simply, the key things we’re looking for are:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation and deliver high-quality reporting to deadlines.
- Good compliance and governance awareness, with a basic understanding of compliance and data protection principles (including GDPR), the importance of risk management, and the ability to follow structured processes while maintaining accurate records.
- Strong technical and analytical capability, confident using Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and other tracking tools to manage data, reporting and governance activities effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build positive relationships across functions and geographies while working collaboratively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- A proactive and trustworthy approach, demonstrating accountability, discretion when handling sensitive information, and a commitment to developing knowledge and capability within Compliance and Data Protection.
