The Role:
We’re looking for a passionate, knowledgeable Coffee Connoisseur to elevate the coffee experience at one of Doha’s most dynamic hospitality destinations. This role is for a detail-obsessed, guest-focused professional who lives and breathes specialty coffee, craftsmanship, and exceptional service.
As a key part of the Food & Beverage team at The Ned Doha, you’ll shape the coffee culture across our venues—bringing creativity, consistency, and excellence to every cup while delivering memorable guest experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Curate and deliver exceptional coffee experiences aligned with The Ned’s brand standards
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee with precision and consistency
- Develop and refine coffee menus, including seasonal offerings and signature blends
- Maintain deep knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, brewing techniques, and trends
- Train and mentor team members on coffee preparation, presentation, and service standards
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operating at peak performance
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and enhance their overall experience
- Collaborate with Culinary and F&B teams to create innovative coffee pairings and offerings
About You:
- Proven experience as a Barista or Coffee Specialist in a premium café, restaurant, or hotel
- Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, brewing methods, and equipment
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through coffee artistry
- A natural communicator who connects easily with guests and team members
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistency
- Thrives in a fast-paced, lifestyle-driven hospitality environment
- Barista certifications or relevant training will be an added advantage
