Cleaner – Flexible Shifts
Our Cleaners play a vital role in maintaining safe, hygienic, and welcoming environments within a hospital setting. If you take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and bring a positive, can-do attitude, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re currently recruiting Cleaners to support ad hoc bookings across the Cheltenham and Gloucester area. This is a great opportunity to work Monday to Friday, with early starts from 7am.
Please note: Previous cleaning experience is preferred, and suitable footwear is required. Due to the nature of this role, you will need an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Carry out cleaning duties across hospital areas, including wards, corridors, kitchens, and public spaces
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Use cleaning equipment and machinery safely and as trained
- Follow strict infection control procedures at all times
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, touchpoints, and high-traffic areas regularly
- Safely dispose of waste in line with site procedures
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, and Manual Handling procedures
- Wear PPE as required
- Maintain a professional and friendly approach with staff, patients, and visitors
