Founded by Gail Meija in 1993, The Bread Factory, originally known as Gail Force, began by supplying some of London's most prestigious restaurants, including many with Michelin stars. More than three decades later, we continue to work closely with the best chefs, alongside grocers, foodservice partners and our own neighbourhood bakery, GAIL's.

We source our ingredients thoughtfully, partnering with farmers and millers who align with our values. The result: delicious, carefully made baked goods that support a more sustainable and nutritious food system; bringing great bread to more tables every day.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering fresh products to customers efficiently and on time while ensuring excellent service.

• Shift Pattern: Fixed 5 days (Monday – Friday)
• Working Hours: 9 hour shifts
• Start Time: 9am – 6pm
• Pay Rate: £19.20 per hour

Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:

• Delivery of our products and collections of equipment to/ from customers’ sites and distribution centres
• To drive Category 1 vehicle safely, legally and efficiently as required
• To positively represent the company when delivering to customers.
• To comply with all drivers' hours and relevant legislation
• To carry out all necessary checks to ensure that the vehicle is safe and legal, and to follow company's defect reporting process
• Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
• To comply with all Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements at all times
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

• Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable and professional approach to work
