Chef de Partie

Entry Level

Chef de Partie - Crazy Bear Beaconsfield

Some chefs like the spotlight.

We’re more interested in the person who can run a section properly when the checks start flying.

We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Crazy Bear Beaconsfield, working with seasonal ingredients and menus built around good produce.

You’ll take ownership of your section from preparation through to service, keeping it organised, maintaining standards and making sure every plate leaves the kitchen as it should.

What you’ll be doing

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes consistently
  • Setting up and running your section efficiently
  • Managing your mise en place and preparing properly for service
  • Maintaining portion control and reducing unnecessary waste
  • Checking ingredients and finished dishes meet the required standard
  • Communicating clearly with the rest of the kitchen team
  • Supporting and guiding junior chefs where needed
  • Managing dietary requirements and allergen controls carefully
  • Following food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Keeping your section clean, organised and ready for the next service

Who we’re looking for

You’ll have:

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar high-quality kitchen
  • Proven experience running your own section
  • Strong practical cooking skills
  • Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen controls
  • A sharp eye for presentation and detail
  • The ability to stay organised during busy services
  • A reliable, team-first approach
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • Evidence of your right to work in the UK

Creative ideas are welcome. Turning up unprepared and calling it creativity is not.

The good stuff

  • On-target earnings up to £35000 per year
  • 50% off food and drink for up to four people
  • 50% off overnight stays
  • 50% off Crazy Bear ticketed events
  • One free overnight stay every year
  • An extra day off for your birthday
  • 28 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays
  • One additional day of holiday for each completed year of service, up to 33 days including bank holidays
  • Training and opportunities to progress
  • £300 for successfully referring someone who joins us
  • Financial recognition for going above and beyond
  • Bear of the Month rewards
  • Workplace pension
  • Access to Hospitality Rewards perks and discounts

Where you’ll be working

Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is Town.

Signature bedrooms, two restaurants—The Dining Room and Hom Thai—two bars and a hidden outdoor pool, all tucked into the middle of Old Beaconsfield.

Our cocktail bar is mirrored, low-lit and built for late nights. The wine list is considered, the drinks are taken seriously and the atmosphere rarely sits still for long.

If you can run a clean section, cook consistently and keep your head when the printer starts talking, we should talk.
