Constellation - Catering Assistant
Location: Mondelez International, Chirk, Wrexham Wales LL14 5LT
Employment Type: Shift offered on casual bases on average 5-7 days a week
Constellation are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join the team at the Mondelez International site in Chirk, Wales — a major cocoa bean processing factory where chocolate products are made for a globally recognised brand.

About the Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of the staff catering facilities, helping to provide fresh food, beverages, and excellent service to employees and visitors on site.
You will work as part of a friendly catering team, ensuring food preparation areas, dining spaces, and service counters are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors
- Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions where required
- Replenish food displays, drinks, and catering supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and service areas
- Wash utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment
- Follow all food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures
- Support stock rotation and storage procedures
- Assist the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Ensure a professional and positive attitude at all times
Essential Requirements
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or retail
- Basic food hygiene knowledge or certification
- Experience using tills or working in customer-facing roles
