As a Catering Assistant, you'll be an important part of the kitchen team, helping to prepare and serve meals while ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe and organised. No two days are the same, and you'll work in welcoming school environments where your contribution really makes a difference.

Shift Information

• Approximate shift times: 7:30am – 3:30pm
• Shifts available 7 days per week
• Flexible working to suit your availability

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food
• Serving pupils and staff during meal services
• Operating tills where required
• Clearing dining areas and maintaining a clean environment
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Supporting chefs and catering teams with day-to-day kitchen duties
• Following food hygiene, allergen and health & safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

• Good communication and time management skills
• Previous catering or customer service experience essential
• Previous experience of working in a school or educational environment is desirable

Skills & Qualifications

Some of these roles are based within educational settings and require an Enhanced DBS Check.
