Casual Food Safety & H&S Support

We’re looking to connect with experienced Food Safety & Health & Safety professionals to provide regular casual/event-day support at a large, high-profile sports and events venue in Manchester.

Working alongside the venue’s operational and safety teams, you’ll be allocated to hospitality and catering areas and help ensure safe, compliant operations throughout the event.

The role will include:

• Carrying out pre-opening food safety and H&S checks

• Monitoring food safety practices including temperature control, allergen management, hygiene and stock rotation

• Conducting regular safety inspections and identifying hazards

• Providing practical guidance, support and coaching to operational teams

• Checking completion of required food safety and H&S documentation

• Escalating significant safety or compliance concerns

• Supporting incident, near-miss and customer complaint investigations where required

• Helping promote a positive and proactive safety culture

We’re particularly interested in people with relevant Food Safety and/or Health & Safety qualifications who are confident working in busy operational environments.

Experience within stadiums, large-scale catering, hospitality or major events would be particularly beneficial.
