The Role:
We are currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Cake Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Cake Shop Assistant, you will be the face of our pastry counter, welcoming guests and creating a warm, inviting experience. You will assist in showcasing and serving our selection of cakes, pastries, and sweet treats, ensuring every guest leaves delighted.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner
- Present and serve cakes, pastries, and other items with care and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing display counter
- Handle orders, payments, and basic cashiering duties
- Support the pastry and service team during busy periods
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained
About You:
- Previous experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality environment is preferred
- A friendly personality with excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for food, especially pastries and desserts
- Well-groomed and presentable, with attention to detail
