An Exciting Leadership OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced and organised Additional Learning Support (ALS) Admin Lead to oversee and coordinate the administrative function of a busy Additional Learning Support service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with strong administrative, data management and people management skills to play a key role in supporting learners with SEND, including those with EHCPs and High Needs funding requirements.Working across multiple sites, you will lead a team of administrators, ensuring efficient, compliant and high-quality support processes that positively impact learner outcomes.The RoleAs the ALS Admin Lead, you will:
Lead, manage and support a team of Additional Learning Support Administrators
Allocate workloads and monitor performance to ensure timely service delivery
Coordinate ALS administrative processes to ensure learners receive appropriate support
Ensure students with identified support needs are contacted promptly
Oversee the scheduling and allocation of assessments to support effective planning
Maintain accurate, up-to-date and audit-ready student records
Provide advice and guidance to students and staff regarding Additional Learning Support processes
Ensure accurate and timely data entry across relevant management information systems
Lead the administration of specialist learner support platforms, ensuring accounts, processes and claims data are managed correctly
Work collaboratively with managers and curriculum teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy
Monitor service performance against agreed targets and service standards
Produce reports and performance information to support management decision-making
Identify and resolve data quality issues and process improvements
Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
Promote a responsive, inclusive and customer-focused support service
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a senior administrative or team leadership role
Experience managing workloads and supporting administrative staff
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Experience working with databases and management information systems
The ability to analyse information and produce reports
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A customer-focused and proactive approach
An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and data protection requirements
Experience within education, learner support, SEND, student services or a similar environment would be advantageous
Knowledge of EHCP and High Needs funding processes would be beneficial
