About the Role
Are you looking to kickstart a career in the fast-paced world of recruitment advertising? At Employment4Students we help the UK's biggest brands connect with the brightest student talent.
We are looking for a hungry, person-centered Account Executive to join our team. This is a "full-cycle" role, as you will find the clients, win their business, and manage the relationship long-term.
Your Responsibilities
This role perfectly balances the thrill of the "hunt" with the rewards of relationship building:
- New Business Development (The Sales): You will proactively identify and engage with employers (direct and via agencies) with the aim of making sales. Using a range of methods including cold calling.
- Consultative Selling: You won't just sell "ads"; you’ll listen to clients' needs and help them understand how to build their employer brand via campaigns to attract students to their opportunities.
- Account Management: Once a client is on board, you own that relationship. You'll ensure their campaigns are performing well and proactively look for opportunities to grow their spend.
- Existing and Lapsed Clients: You will be responsible for the existing client base, as well as tasked with engaging with lapsed customers.
- Campaign Monitoring: Set up, Track, Report and have Regular Reviews with clients, providing them with data-driven updates.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing team to turn success into new enquiries.
- Networking: Representing e4s at industry events and recruitment fairs.
Who You Are
We don’t expect 10 years of experience, we want potential. This role is perfect for you if:
- You’re a "People Person": You can strike up a conversation with anyone and aren't afraid to pick up the phone.
- You’re Resilient: Cold calling takes grit. You view a "no" as just one step closer to a "yes."
- You’re Organized & Tech-Savvy: As this is a hybrid role, you’ll be running your own desk. You need to be highly computer literate and comfortable navigating multiple platforms at once. You’ll be a master of our CRM, to stay connected and productive.
- You’re Proactive: You take initiative. Whether it's spotting a company that should be hiring students or suggesting a new strategy to a struggling client, you’re always one step ahead and looking for ways to add value.
- You’re passionate: Ideally, you have an interest and/or desire to learn more about the student/youth employment market.
- Competitive Spirit: You are motivated by hitting targets and seeing success for clients which is rewarded with a generous commission payout.

- Purpose-Driven: We are passionate about helping young people take their first steps into work. Everything you do impacts a student’s future career.
- Growth Mindset: You aren't just a cog in a machine. You’ll have a voice in strategy, direct access to leadership, and a clear path to progress as you master the art of sales.
- Supportively High-Performance: We are a hybrid team, but we aren't isolated. We celebrate every win, from your first cold-call success to a major account renewal.
