Over the last few months we’ve added hundreds and hundreds of great student jobs at top venues around the United Kingdom.
With so many fantastic vacancies at sporting venues, racecourses, leisure attractions, exhibition centres, concert halls and other top venues, you’d have to be a very unlucky student not to be able to find some flexible work at a place right near where you live.
Of course, these jobs are fantastic for earning some cash to top up the piggy bank after an expensive Christmas break, but many of them are seasonal so you can pretty much find casual jobs at these venues every month of the year.
We wanted to shine a spotlight on these venues so you can apply for work at any or all of the places in your town or city in the coming weeks.
Most of the vacancies at top venues are hospitality or catering roles with recruiters like Levy UK, but there are lots of other opportunities for stewarding or security roles with companies such as G4S and LSS.
Let’s take a look at some of the venues and give you links to them so you can apply for the vacancies which would be most suitable for you.
Student Jobs At Sporting Venues
Sports venues are a great hunting ground for student jobs – and, depending on the type of role that you land, you might even get paid to see some great sporting action, saving you from having to fork out for the gate fee.
Obviously, there is tons of work to be done on match days, with sometimes thousands of spectators to be catered for at one time. But there is often work at big sporting venues even when it isn’t match day since most of them host other events like conferences, parties and exhibitions.
If you factor all of those in then sports venues can offer casual work on almost every weekday, Saturdays, Sundays – and even in the evenings.
Especially in the run up to Christmas and over summer there are loads of catering and hospitality jobs at football stadiums, rugby stadiums, racecourses and cricket grounds all over the country.
Here are just a few of the sports venues where we try to fill flexible jobs throughout the calendar year…

Likewise, you’ll need to net a catering job at Wimbledon early too, with many roles being filled from January onwards.
Some Wimbledon jobs start in May and can run through into August, so you could get a good few months worth of highly rewarding work at the All England Tennis Club if you apply early.
