Creditsafe Creating 300 New Finance Jobs In Cardiff

Global business intelligence and credit checking company Creditsafe has announced plans which will create 300 new finance jobs in Cardiff, with new headquarters in the Welsh capital.

The firm has moved its UK headquarters from Caerphilly to a brand new 50,000 square foot office at Ty Meridian, located in Cardiff’s Gate Business Park.

The relocation has already seen 300 employees make the move to Cardiff and the company now aims to double that number, creating a further 300 new full or part time vacancies over the next five years.

The roles will include a mix of entry-level opportunities and management positions, offering something for jobseekers at all stages of their careers.

Although it is opening a new Cardiff HQ, Creditsafe will still be keeping its existing offices in Dublin and London.

Announcing the relocation plans, Chris Robertson, the Chief Executive Officer for Creditsafe UK & Ireland, said: “After careful consideration of our relocation options in recent months, we are thrilled to have moved to Ty Meridian. This new office is a key part of our ambitious five year growth strategy, allowing us to considerably increase our headcount to support our evolving product roadmap.”

“Its prime location near Junction 30 of the M4 ensures excellent accessibility for our staff, making it the ideal base for our continued growth. Relocating from London to Wales was a pivotal moment in Creditsafe’s success.

“Caerphilly offered an abundance of skilled and motivated professionals, making it the ideal location to build a strong and dynamic team, this strategic decision played a crucial role in Creditsafe’s long-term success, reinforcing Wales as a hub for business growth and innovation.”

“While we are excited for the future in Cardiff, leaving Caerphilly is bittersweet. Myself and the team who have spent years working in the town will always look back on our time there with great fondness,” added the CEO.

The company serves over 40,000 clients across the UK and has a strong reputation as an employer, previously featuring on the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

Having first relocated from London to Wales more than 20 years ago, this latest move and recruitment drive marks a major new chapter in Creditsafe’s journey.
