Job Description

Recruitment Administrator

Reports to: UK & International Recruitment Manager

Location: Camp Beaumont, Norwich

Length of Work Period: Full time until September 15th with possibility of full time.

Job Brief

We are looking for a talented Recruitment Administrator to join our team. You will be part of a team responsible for attracting candidates to work at our busy Children’s Day Camps.

As a Recruitment Administrator, you will have a basic knowledge of using Word and Excel and producing formal emails to potential staff. If you have strong communication skills and are a confident individual who likes to think ‘outside-the-box’ we want to hear from you.

Our working ours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Although, due to nature of our company these hours may vary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with design and implementation of overall recruiting strategy
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites, social media and universities job boards
  • Attend staff recruitment events and fairs on behalf of Camp Beaumont across the UK
  • Evaluate and screen electronic applications
  • Conduct phone and on occasion Skype interviews putting forward candidates for management and more senior roles.
  • Manage the administration behind the contracting process including reference requests, DBS checks, contracting and all pre-employment paperwork
  • Initial point of contact for casual staff with queries or concerns

Additional Responsibilities

  • View potential staff applications and decide from their previous employment, education and qualifications if they will be suitable to work within Camp Beaumont.
  • Check applicants ID’s to make sure they are able to work in the UK.
  • Submit ID to Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure all applicants will have an authorised DBS before they start work with us.
  • Confirm applicants DBS if they are on the update service.
  • Answering the phone and providing applicants with correct information or putting through to the relevant person.
  • Adding staff to Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Sending contracts to staff.
  • Sending out and giving references.

Personal Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident and presentable with an enthusiastic and infectious personality
  • Passion for the childcare and leisure industries
  • Happy to work some weekends, early mornings and evenings where required (all additional hours above your contract will be returned in lieu)
  • Ability to prioritise and complete projects efficiently and within a deadline
  • No experience necessary as full training will be provided but the successful candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm to learn and develop quickly
  • Familiarity with basic computer programmes such as Word and Excel and with a variety of social media platforms
  • Full Drivers Licence with use of own car

Remuneration – In line with National Minimum Wage

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge using offcie programmes such as Word and Excel.

  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
  • You must be currently living within a commutable distance of this vacancy
